High Pressure Plugging Tee
The principle and structure of a Tee are simple, while because it is directly welded to the pipeline, its quality and materials are extremely important.
The critical sealing of Tee housing is locking ring, noted that turning the locking screw clockwise disengages the locking ring, and turning it counterclockwise locks it in place. Record the number of turns for each locking ring; this should be a designated person's responsibility. Additionally, the sealing of the steel ball in the plug must be ensured before use. Clean the plug thoroughly and check that the jacking rod has disengaged the steel ball and that the spring returns to its original position to guarantee a seal.
The plugging tee mainly consists of a flange, blind flange, connecting pipe, upper and lower protective plates of appropriate specifications, plug, and locking ring device. The appropriate specifications of the plugging tee can be designed according to the pipeline's operating pressure, medium, and outer diameter. During pipeline plugging operations, this equipment is used to connect the pipeline to the clamp valve; after construction, it is used to plug the pipeline's bore. This equipment is widely used in oil pipelines, natural gas pipeline renovations, and pipeline emergency repairs.
